This morning, Monday, August 16, 2010, in response to my e-mail inquiry, we received the exciting e-mail response news from Mireya Morales, our Rotary Foundation Grant Coordinator, that our Matching Grant #73213 was approved last Friday, August 13, 2010, to equip a computer center in Salcedo, Dominican Republic. She says that the administrative process is taking longer than usual in that there has been an unusually large number of applications. Next we must wait patiently for their official letter of approval. Upon receipt, we then send our funds to TRF where they will match our funds and wire the total project funds to the Club Rotario Salcedo, D4060. And then our project will be underway.
