Norm Malmberg

Born January 26, 1938, & raised on our Iowa family farm homesteaded by my great grandfather, Carl Malmberg in 1860. Graduated from Iowa State University, with a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics with Minors in Naval Science & Vocational Education, 11/23/60, Commissioned from NROTC as an Ensigh, USN, retired 12/1/90 as a Captain, U.S. Navy (Ret.) 30 years later, having served on 7 ships & various shore commands, Currently a self employed real estate broker for over 37 years, during this time I have attended various post graduate courses in business & law at 7 different California colleges & universities, I also have an Iowa & California teaching credential in mathematics & science. I am married to Pam 43 years, we have a married daughter, Anne, 39 + granddaughter, Flannery, 6 years, & a married son, Ryan, 37 + 2 granddaughters, Luna, 3.5 years & Zoe, 8 months. Having visited 30 different countries during my careers, Rotary International Service is the perfect substitute. It has more than filled the void in my life left by my departure from the Navy. I love to immerse myself in the cultures of different Countries making many new, wonderful frriends.

Member of Rotaract, 1997-2004, Member of Interact Club, 1993-1996, District 4060 Rotaract Representative, 2001-2002, Profession: Civil Engineering Bachelor's Degree in 2002 from Universidad Catolica Nordestana (UCNE), San Francisco de Macoris, Master's Degree in Construction Management, 2010, at Instituto Tecnologico de Santo Domingo (INTEC). Property Valuers since 2005. Independent, Self Employed, Professional Civil Engineer, Married January 24, 2004, to Pedro Escano, also an independent, profoessional, Civil Engineer. 2 Children, A boy, Aaron Jose, 7 & a girl, Liah Andrea, 2.
